The Human Rights Hub was founded by classmates of mine in the fall of 2023 as a non-partisan, non-religious organization committed to raising awareness of diverse human rights issues within the graduate school community. Recognizing both the privilege and responsibility that comes with this role, the group works to engage and inform students on a wide range of topics. I joined as a co-founder at its inception and later served as Public Relations Officer in my third semester, before taking on the role of Senior Public Relations Officer in my final semester.
